Analyst: I think that this maker of ball bearings is quite attractive because of its strong operating momentum, $500mm net cash position, and dirt cheap valuation of 6x fully-loaded FCF.

PM: WHAT IS THEIR SUBPRIME EXPOSURE?!?

Analyst: They don’t own subprime. Or sell houses. Or sell into housing-related markets. Or have variable rate debt.

PM: OK BUT ARE THEY EXPOSUDED TO THE SUBPRIME PRESSURE ON YIELDS?

Analyst: No

PM: I LIKE THE NAME BUT WANT TO OWN IT 10% CHEAPER

Analyst: They’re buying back 10% of shares outstanding this year.

PM: WHAT ABOUT SUBPRIME? ANY EXPOSURE THERE?

(Am I the only one that don’t think subprime is that bad? Look at how much GS made by shorting subprime for their proprietary trading)

I can’t believe Trump picked Sean. He is a great motivator and leader, but like Lee said, he is only 22 and he’s at about the same level as Sean, just imagine Lee 10 years later. Oh well, I guess I can relate to Lee more because I’m around the same age as he is. Anyways, Season 5 of The Apprentice is the best yet!

I haven’t stumbled across absolutely amazing things on the web for quite a while, until I heard about Pandora at Neowin.net the other day. Essentially it is like Yahoo’s LaunchCast or Last.FM, but it’s much more personal. It asks for your favorite artists/songs, and make recommendations based on the song’s characteristics. For example, the radio station I created with Linkin’ Park recommended songs that feature the following:

“Based on what you’ve told us so far, we’re playing this track because it features hard rock roots, extensive vamping, mixed acoustic and electric instrumentation, a clear focus on recording studio production and minor key tonality.”

Isn’t that cool? I’ve been listening to it at work for the past few days (no installation, Flash-based) & discovered quite a few songs that I love, including:

Gators are going to the final! We totally killed GMU 73-58, and will be playing UCLA, defeating LSU tonight 59-45. I haven’t been this excited about basketball since Michael Jordan last played!
